At Ripple VAs, we know that the most significant contributor to our success is always our people. Thus, we have committed to promote growth and satisfy the needs of our virtual assistants, not just providing quality service to our clients.
Each member of our family has their own unique earning story to tell and a distinctive journey with Ripple — and here at Ripple, we value these stories.
We take pride in our virtual assistants, and we appreciate their earnest efforts in making a difference to our client's businesses and making a difference in their lives. Here is a Ripple Earning Story from one of our virtual assistants, Cyd.
Ripple Earning Story: Cyd
People who excel in life are those who are willing to take the risk, not excuses for themselves and others. Cyd started his financial breakthrough when he invested the remaining money he had in his bank account to enroll in Ripple Success Academy (RSA).
RSA is an online academy which teaches aspiring freelancers and virtual assistants achieve their dream of financial freedom and live the life they dream about. It was indeed one of the best investments he had. Now, the company has doubled or tripled what he had previously. It helped him acquire necessary appliances for his house. It also provided him the necessary financial breathing space to enjoy a nice life with friends and family.
“Ripple VAs has impacted my life positively. It brought me a space where I can safely belong to a collective free from prejudice and judgment. Nothing more enjoyable than to work in a manner and place where everyone respects each other despite having different starting points. It reaffirmed my belief that respect is universal,” he said. Ripple had become his compass as he was going through one of his worst moments in life. Like a seemingly lost ship in the powerful current of the sea, he has been found.
Cyd Batalon is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Education Major in English in Mindanao State University-Main Campus in the year 2019 and has officially started working in Ripple VAs last December in the year 2020.
As a virtual assistant and instructor, his average working day consists of getting up at 6 or 7 a.m. and sleeping for 6 to 7 hours. He would work for his clients for three hours before going back to school. He'd then return to his clients for another 3 to 5 hours of work. He takes comfort in the idea that he can now pay his payments, despite his jam-packed schedule. Looking forward to better days, he continues to juggle his daily job in order to become more financially independent and also give back to his family in this way.
When asked to describe how he feels to have a financial breakthrough with Ripple, Cyd said "It feels freeing from the shackles of underestimation and self-sabotage. I always felt like many would not take me seriously if my financial capacity to generate enough resources to live a good life would not catch up. Though the company is absent of any discrimination against social classes, the world isn’t. That’s why the company is empowering people like me to have a reference point for confidence. That I can say I am not someone people can take lightly if the standard is financial capacity. It has also made me more humble than before. Because now the lord has given me the platform to be strong, I use it to bring abundance to my family who has long been suffering from the struggles brought by this pandemic.” Cyd started to see the world differently when Ripple believed in him despite having no talent or skills.
He emphasized that there is nothing more satisfying than knowing that someone believes in you and your ability, no matter how low you think of yourself at times. This is the most fascinating thing this VA has ever experienced.
The belief entrusted to Cyd by the Management transformed him to be one of highest earners in the company. With this, Cyd leaves advice for the VAs who want to experience financial breakthroughs. “Always include the Lord in your goals-setting and decision-making process. He will open the floodgates of abundance when you prioritize worship and service. Trust him and the rest will follow,” he said.
Cyd’s earning story makes us think that if we found someone who believes in us, success and excellence will follow. Like him, we just need someone who will trust us in whatever we do.
