MY RIPPLE EARNING STORY: Cathlene Ayacaide

𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗥𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦

At Ripple VAs, we know that the most significant contributor to our success is always our people. Thus, we have committed to promote growth and satisfy the needs of our virtual assistants, not just providing quality service to our clients.

Each member of our family has their own unique earning story to tell and a distinctive journey with Ripple — and here at Ripple, we value these stories.

We take pride in our virtual assistants, and we appreciate their earnest efforts in making a difference to our client's businesses and making a difference in their lives. Here is a Ripple Earning Story from one of our virtual assistants, Cath.

Ripple Earning Story: Cath

Getting her first job might have been one of the most meaningful challenges she has met and overcome. She had just gotten a job she honored, and the fresh beginning at the new place compelled her to contemplate where she was financially. However, her rewarding moments did not happen without keeping her nose to the grindstone.

At 22 years old, Cathlene Ayacaide did not expect to get her condo during her 11-month stint at Ripple VAs. As a student whose core before joining the company was only to further her education, Cath confessed how mixed emotions repressed her poise deep inside; she was so worried about facing the reality of life.

Cath reminisced how low self-esteem affected her ability to pursue her goals. She recalled when she asked herself how it feels to work in Ripple. "Of course, I got no answer [to the question] because I did not apply. I was afraid and always thought my confidence was too low to be part of the company. So, I decided not to take a step."

While Cath's perception of her inner voice developed vulnerability on her part, her sister, Melvie Ayacaide (Ripple's Chief Financial Officer), approached her to stand up to her inner critic. Even Ripple CEO Jezrel Perez, whom she calls "Ate," believed she could make the barrage of negative thoughts concealing herself melt. After this, Cath has never been more optimistic than seeing herself grow and unleashing her superhero. Apprehensive, she no longer is.

"Thanks to the Management for training me and bringing out the best in me. I could not do and achieve my things because of their patience. Kana ganing feeling nga they shaped you to become a beautiful structure?" Cath stressed.

In her first three months as an Internal Support Specialist, Cath already pictured changes in her financial status. She described her first few months as an achievement because she shared an amount for her family's expenses. She gave back to the people she cared about and supported her along the way, realizing that all these things are not for her to consume alone but to share with others. Moreover, she could purchase a new laptop necessary for her job and studies.

"[But] I think the greatest breakthrough is not of money but in confidence," Cath said.

Cath expanded that Ripple VAs is a financial and spiritual blessing to her. She did not just gain self-confidence, but it allowed her to bequeath the confidence and influence it in other people. Similarly, it is within her job that helped her exercise leadership. "Through weekly mentorship, Ripple helped nurture me to be a great mentor to my mentees. A mentor not just by title but a mentor by heart and actions."

For Cath, she interpreted her earning story as a breakthrough. Fun fact: She named her mentorship group with such a word. "It [word] has been present in every milestone I have experienced since joining Ripple VAs. I believe that to experience this is our destiny as our God is a God of increase. We have to wait for our season of growth."

Indeed, when Cath found herself in plights that it was hard to imagine waiting one more second, she kept waiting on God and trusting Him with a sweet and modest faith. Then, in a way she could never have figured out — God moves unexpectedly!
